Found or located Where:
Located in 2014 on my property in Morretes, PR, Brazil, and produced in 2016, This is a simple tree branch or crotch of the tree branch that was located on my property and was destined for the firewood pile but I was able to recover it and come up with an interesting and creative solution in producing a Center table.
The Process:
I took quite a bit of time in studying the piece in determining what to actually do with it. Finally I was enlightened and started. After that the final product came together fairly quickly. I cut the tree branch in half lengthwise and then opened them up and crossed one over the top of the other carving out an area for the one to rest inside the other and rejoining them as if it were one piece. Placing the hairpin legs under the table gives it a sense of lightness.
