The Process:

This piece of wood washed up on the bank of the river near my house after a high river event and I stored it for several months before finally trying to decide what to do with it. Even after determining a direction for this piece with the final objective being a bench, it was quite a challenge to put it into a condition that was functional. I became very pleased with the final result as it is delicate and quite contemporary.
