A decayed and naturally hollowed-out log.

Found or located Where:

Found on my property in Morretes, PR, Brazil, mostly buried under decaying vegetation this piece was recovered and subsequently cleaned up.

The Process:

After recovering this piece from the forest and cleaning it up significantly letting it dry out and trying to determine if there was structural Integrity to use the piece, determined that it could be transformed into a standalone and Stratford piece and then subsequently decided to put the illumination inside of it and it made a very nice lighting feature. This piece was displayed in CasaCor Parana 2017 by Marcelo Lopes in his space known as “Destino Iguassu”.
