The Process:

A piece of wood that is hard and aged and tumbled through the river, with it’s twisting grain that was formed through the difficulties of its life. Being let by the idea of the perceived stress through the life of this piece of wood I have hammered and penetrated the surface with nails screws and other pieces of iron, bent, burned and polished, illustrating even more distress.
