The Process:

A coffee table  from lumber recovered from a deteriorating bridge still had sufficient structure and internal beauty to serve another function in its life. The top is bonded together by pouring molten aluminum into channels which were milled into the surface of the table top. The supporting bases of the table were made from carefully selected stones to form rectangular shapes to imitate a stone wall.
