The Process:

This coffee table  comes from a tree that was laying on the ground and about to be consumed by nature in the process of decomposition. I  was able to recover a large section of the trunk and stabilized wood sufficiently to what is this table top. I found a perfectly shaped river rock which had a brilliant green color inside its rough exterior and I polished it to a high sheen. This stone provides the stability for one portion of the base and the other end is supported by a piece of 19 mm glass.
